On Your Side

On Your Side is a new nationwide service that was launched in August 2022, offering dedicated support for East and Southeast Asian victims of racism as well as other forms of hate.

The service, funded by the Department for Levelling up Housing and Communities, includes a 24/7 helpline which can be available in East and Southeast Asian languages.

You can access report forms, resources and ways to contact the team on their website.

Hate crimes are different from other forms of crime because perpetrators purposefully target victims based on prejudice or hostility towards a group of people.

The Chinese Community Health and Wellbeing Services (CCHWS) provides free and confidential mental health counselling and psychotherapy in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English to British Chinese, East and Southeast Asian community members who have been the victims of a hate crime.
